Last night was the annual company Christmas dinner. It was at this beautiful brazilian steak house Chima. I forgot my camera at home but the outside was one of the most stunning entries to a restaurant I have ever seen. Anyway after dinner was over I realized I hadn't taken any photos of the outfit anyway get ready to see a nauseating amount of posts including this skirt and maxis like it new obsession.

In an attempt to brave the cold we headed out for some dinner in the Gables and let me tell you Cold was an understatement (at least for those who live in the sunshine state)

Friendship made in fashion are destine to last ...well as long as the season. Whether called a muse or "fashion friends" these relationships often last until the ad campaign is shot and the press has been completed but upon further investigation these are some real friendships beneath all the Faux fur, high heels and glitterotie.

Agyness Deyn & Henry Holland- These two have known each other since the age of 13. They used to discuss there lives as a famous model (Deyn) and designer (Holland), and they have done just that with Agyness walking in House of Holland shows. The two even shared a flat in London together. It seams they planed and accomplished the dreams they set out after.

The Most noted best friends of Fashion are Marc Jacobs and Sofia Coppola. Not only did she help design a bag for Louis Vuitton she also had a Marc Jacobs bag named after her the "Sofia". She appeared in many ad campaigns for the designer and even on the cover of his name sake book Marc Jacobs. Also Marc made the beautiful luggage for the movie Darjeeling Limited which Sofia's cousin Jason Schwartzman was in.I am supremely jealous and could post pics and ramble on and on but I will leave you to swoon over these images.

Art Basel

So after much convincing, I finally coursed my mother into taking a rigorous 30 min. drive down to Miami to go to Art Basel. We ate lunch on Lincoln Rd then moseyed over to the exhibit. Sorry that the art doesn't have an artist attached but most of the art I couldn't get close enough to, to write it down.

Gap Toothed

In the last few months models dawning there best Lauren Hutton gap are landing big advertising deals and even more coveted mag covers, is there a beauty lesson to infer from this? I think so, the gap that modeling agencies told Hutton to fill in, (and she promised to best lie ever told) soon the gap became her calling card and Hutton soon took over the fashion scene. Now 20 some years later the likes of Lara Stone,Georgina May Jagger major girl crush and Anna Paquin have brought the gap back... is it here to stay? If it brings these girls out of the wood work then lets hope so.

I seem to have forgotten the indescribable Brigitte Bardot and Vanessa Paradis in my list of Gap toothed lovelies. Are you making an unscheduled appointment with you dentist, it may be in order.
