I've been dying to wear the shoes pants combo I think the cut outs in the shoes coupled with the pattern of the pants made me giddy with excitement to take these photos. Worn out to go have lunch and run some errands today but I couldn't hold off on wearing it any longer. The shoes were a Christmas gift and I can't believe it has taken me this long to wear them might be because of the ridiculous heel

Late New Years resolution give these shoes the love and attention they deserve.

Lady Crush # 3

If the eyes are the window to the soul than the eyebrows are the drapes.
These are words to live by I personally believe the bolder the darker the more defined the brow the greater my lady crush becomes... with this said it should be no surprise that the model to be crowned my lady crush number three is Bambi Northwood-blyth. This 5'7" stunner is well ... stunning, the proof is in the unfairly gorg pictures.

Pick em' up just to Let them Down

No distinctive decade can be "recaptured" but I'm super stoked for the 70's revival. The late 60's early 70's were so classic, they represented this time when women took charge of the way they wanted to dress and express them selves not to mention the bell bottoms and afros. We were introduced to some amazing music and even more Iconic rockstar girlfriends who would soon be the frame of reference of what all little boys wanted and all girls wanted to look like. If you wanted to look like a Charlie's Angel or one of the many stunning women Mick Jagger was married to the look was unlike any other, effortlessly cool, carefree and above all bitchin'.

The other night I went out with the best friend I have my mom. We went out for the evening to our fav restaurant The Greek Isles, so much good food I could hardly manage to eat dessert but we managed. I was shocked when my mother came up with the idea to take some fun pictures in the laundry room but as you can see they came out kinda bitchin'. After a weekend away its nice to come home hit the the usual spots and keep it low key. So happy to finally give these socks a proper showcase. 

I dont have to exist outside this place

So this weekend I ventured to the bustling metropolis of Tallahassee, FL. I had a real blast vegging out in the dorms with my best friend and going out every night, these photos were from a day spent exploring rail road square, moseying in and out of thrift shops and chowing down on some seriously good cuisine, will post my new goodies when I get a chance to wear them...

I know there has been a major lack of outfit posts and for that i'm sorry. I have had little to no motivation to get out of bed and get dressed it takes so much less energy to just go on style.com and look at others in there pretty little outfits. Anyway going away for the weekend to visit my best friend in the whole world so there will be like 2-3 good outfits a day.

4+5=NINE

I've spent the weekend watching movie after movie, and one that I watched for the 3rd time was the underrated musical NINE. This is what the movies are meant to do, cause excitement and a love of costumes. Colleen Atwood designed the costumes for this movie and might I say this is why its my favorite decade. Women dressed to leave the house and men wore suites and skinny little ties, this is what we are sorely lacking now a days. I love the make up the song the dance the idea life is not a dress rehearsal and we should live everyday like were on stage.

New Year New "it" girl

Its 2011 my how the time seems to pass in a blink of an eye. Anyway sorry for disappearing for what seems like forever but enough about me. With a new year comes a new "it" girl, this girl should be cool with out trying she should have an enviable style duh and have some kind of clout.
So who could this elusive creature be .... Zoe Kravitz, I think so.

If you think the last name sounds familiar well then your correct, she is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Her effortless beauty landed her the Vera Wang princess ad campaign and on the small radar for a nylon piece, her band Elevator Fight and her movies should hopefully lure her back into the spotlight,these are small potatoes to what I think she can achieve. I hope to see a lot from this stunner.
